Our mission at Oxygen First Foundation is to advance oxygen therapeutics through research, development, and education, making oxygen solutions accessible to all in need.
Oxygen related health issues affect over 1 Billion people, with 25 million deaths occurring each year. These are often the elderly, very young, and most vulnerable of our population. No person should die for lack of oxygen.
Oxygen is an expensive luxury and becoming a scarce resource, especially in the poorest countries and remote locations. During the COVID pandemic, 50% of ICU patients who did not receive oxygen died. Patients were literally suffocating to death as hospitals ran out of oxygen, lacked the facilities and training, or had unreliable equipment to administer what was available; amounting to 7 million deaths. New solutions and therapeutics are desperately needed.
We love our work and are dedicated to our mission, so feel free to contact us at any time. We'll do our best to respond quickly.
